Gandalf the Grey brought barrels of fireworks in a cart with him when attending Bilbo Baggins birthday party before Bilbo would leave for Rivendell. He made the fireworks himself and was exceedingly skilled at it. He brought rockets, squibs, crackers, backarappers, sparklers, torches, dwarf-candles, elf-fountains, goblin-barkers and thunder-claps. The rockets were especially impressive and the most memorable created a realistic fire dragon that swept across the celebrations, causing some alarm until it swooped away and exploded into sparkling lights over the Bywater.

This is the fifth of five figures/vignettes from Phase 1 of the journey through the original LOTR story. Phase 1 covers the initial flight from the Shire to avoid the Nazgul seeking "Baggins". This idea was the winning idea in September 2025 and submitted by Fellowship member "Gildor". The new structure of the Fellowship has 3 pre-agreed on ideas and two Membership chosen ideas, so this was one of the latter. This is the forty-fourth fully UV resin release. Mithril is offering a choice between primed and unprimed. This release is three pieces so assembly is required. It is 32mm scale. The base has the manufacturer name MITHRIL, the sculptor's name and creation date, MZ number and trade mark notice for Middle-earth Enterprises.
