Éomer is the third Marshal of the Riddermark. Both he and his sister, Éowyn, were adopted by their uncle Théoden, king of the Rohirrim, after their parents' death. He lead a large troop of Rohirrim and caught the Isengard Uruk-hai on their way back to Saruman after capturing Merry and Pippin and slew the Half-orcs, and later gave Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli 2 horses and showed them where the attack occurred so they could search for their Hobbit friends.
