According to ICE, Eothraim are the ancestors of Eotheod (themselves the ancestors of Rohirrim), their princes have the title of "huithyn". In Tolkien Unfinished tales, these "huithyn" are actually the Princes of Rhovanion (such as Vidugavia) who are definitely the Eotheod ancestors.
