This dynamic scene from The Hobbit is brought to life in dramatic fashion with Dori the Dwarf carrying Bilbo, sculpted in 54mm scale by Chris Tubb. Dori’s strength and urgency are captured in motion, while Bilbo wraps his arms around Dori's shoulders, eyes wide with surprise.

Crafted in high-resolution UV-polyurethane resin, the figure is unprimed to preserve the exceptional detailing. A must-have for fans of Tolkien’s tales and miniature collectors alike.

This figure is supplied unprimed to preserve the high level of sculpted detail, allowing you to choose the priming method that suits your painting preferences.

Dori is a Dwarf, and alongside his two brothers, joined Thorin and Gandalf in their adventure to remove Smaug the Dragon from the Lonely Mountain. During this adventure they got attacked by Goblins and had to flee. Dori carried Bilbo as he was faster and had more stamina than the smaller Hobbit. Bilbo Baggins was brought along, largely by the recommendation of Gandalf the Grey, to help steal the Arkenstone from Smaug, a precious stone that was a hugely important heirloom for Thorin Oakenshield.

This sculpt is part of a Bundle (with the three Goblins). You can save 22.80 Euro if you select that four figure bundle in the product options.

    DORI carrying BILBO™ – 54mm UV Resin Miniature M54-104

Another 54mm ‘gem’ from Mithril. Printed in resin these figures really capture the fine details of the figure that perhaps a metal miniature cannot. The subject matter of this latest range is also capturing subjects and poses that are, in my opinion, more interesting than the old metal figures, and the flexibility of printing rather than casting is hopefully going to give us some great subjects. My only concern would be that should a mounted figure be produced, then the Mithril 32mm style would not transfer well; we shall see. The resin is perhaps not to the liking of the ‘traditional’ collectors, but I’m 100% in favour. The figure comes in a nice box.
