The quickpost, as its name suggests, was a mail delivery service operating exclusively in the shire. It was organised under the auspices of the mayor at Michel Delving.
Only 100 of these figures are produced at this time. This is the 206th release in the Gold Status Fellowship club. This was the winning idea from May 2023 and was submitted by Fellowship member "cjbowser". This is the nineteenth fully UV resin release, undercoated with matt grey primer. There are three pieces, the base, the two standing Hobbits and the Quickpost rider. This is 32mm scale. The base has the manufacturer name MITHRIL, the sculptor's name and creation date and MZ number on the sides of the base.
This product is not suitable for children under the age of 14.

MZ721 The Lord of the Rings 'Hobbit Quickpost rider' UV Resin vignette
Another 32mm resin figure from Mithril printed in resin. These figures really capture the fine details of the figure that perhaps a metal miniature cannot due to moulding and casting restrictions. Perhaps the main drawback at this scale will be delicate parts such as spears so care will need to be taken cutting away the supports. The subject matter, printed in resin, is also capturing subjects and poses that are, in my opinion, more interesting than the old metal figures, and the flexibility of printing rather than casting is hopefully going to give us some great designs.
