At the northwest of Middle-earth, nestling in the spurs of the Blue mountains is the Elven realm of Lindon, all that remains of Beleriand in the Third-age of Middle-earth. From here the Elven ships ply the Belegaer, southwards to far lands beyond the Haradwaith and also occasionally westward across the Great sea to the Undying lands. The Elves of Lindon are renowned mariners and only they may venture west.

This is the 157th release in the Gold Status Fellowship club and was November 2018's Winning idea. It was suggested by 'aragorn'. Measures 48mm from base to top of mariner's head. There are 5 parts in this blister. The base is separate from the figure.

Due to mould breakage the amount available is only 55 instead of 100.

The winds of the open sea

For this I figure considered to be quite boring. I was a little scared of what Chris would make of her. Maybe just one sailor lying on deck. This idea of a sailor watching the horizon standing on a mast is simply awesom.... the mast alone is nothing spectacular...

MZ667 Lord of the Rings 'Elven Mariner' Fellowship figure.

A nicely executed figure of an Elven mariner perched precariously upon a bowsprit (?) looking out from aboard his ship. Chris Tubb has captured movement well with this figure, with hair and cloak billowing in the wind. Assembly was a little bit fiddly getting the arm to match the hand (I would have preferred the hand to have been attached to the arm as this would have given more flexibility. Although titled Elven Mariner, the modeller could easily use this as Amroth as he looks for his lost love, the maiden Nimrodel. All this figure needs now is a ship.
