After their sojourn in Lothlorien, the Fellowship continued its journey towards Mordor. They travelled by way of the Great river in three light boats which had been provided by Galadriel’s folk. Provisioned with Elven waybread and equipped with Elven rope, the party set out upon the swift waters of the Anduin. Frodo, Sam and Aragorn took one vessel, while Merry and Pippin travelled with Boromir (MX669). Gimli and Legolas took the third (MZ645).
This vignette depict an anxious Frodo standing astern and contemplating the frightening fate that probably awaits him. Aragorn sits, watchful for Orcs on either bank while Sam looks behind at the strange log that appears to follow the party.

lorien boat with Aragorn, Frodo and Sam
this an amazing sculpt. I assume that it is number two of three with the next being Boromir, Pippin and and Merry. when the set is complete it will be one of the most amazing series Mithril's.

MX668 LOTR 'LORIEN™ boat with ARAGORN™ FRODO™ and SAM™' 32mm scale vignette.
A lovely companion piece to the earlier Legolas and Gimli boat, and once the final boat is released the diorama possibilities are endless. As stand-alone pieces they will be just as nice (I purchased two). The only modification I will make is to replace the provided 'seats' with strips rather than the solid ones in the kit. Another winner from Team Mithril, and Tom Wrich who commissioned the piece.
