Christmas Fellowship figures

Mithril Miniatures has a long tradition of releasing a special metal miniature almost every year for Christmas. In general the rule is that this figure will be a leader of some sort, so a king, prince, powerful warlord or important character from the books 'The Hobbit' or 'The Lord of the Rings'. These have a limited quantity and we can release special variants like primed and antique finished. Antique finish is where the figure is fully assembled and dipped into a black gloss paint mix and wiped with a cloth damp with thinners to remove the paint from the raised areas and leave the paint in the crevices. Then it is allowed to dry and polished. This brings out a unique finish that enhances contrast and detail and our collectors love that variant.
