March 2022 Releases: Black Numenorean Standard bearer and Watch-Guard at the gates of Orthanc.

This is a historic month for Mithril as we are releasing the first hybrid figure, MZ704 Black Numenorean Standard Bearer. This has both Resin and Metal parts. The body of the figure is resin, and the base and accessories like the sword arm and standard are metal. Future fellowship releases will follow this pattern. Including the MZ702 and MZ703 due out in April.
The Black Numenorean was descended from the group of corrupted Numenoreans that escaped the tragedy of Númenor and were allied to Sauron. Here the figure carries one of Mordor's standards.
The Watch Guard at the gates of Orthanc was the last full metal Fellowship figure available. This figure served Saruman in Isengard and bears his white hand mark on his shield. Despite being allied with Sauron, Saruman developed his own forces too, and recruited men from the hillmen in Gondor like the Dunlendings.
Both releases are extremely limited, with only 100 created initially. Both are unprimed and need assembly.
