March 2021 Releases: Mordor Beast and Bilbo and Gandalf meet.

Mithril Miniatures has two exciting new releases for March. The first is the Mordor draught beast, a fearsome animal that is used to haul siege equipment around for the armies of Mordor. Dangerous to handle and prone to stampeding if subjected to too much pain or terror. This was June 2020's winning idea, submitted by Fellowship member 'ddaines'.

The second release was envisioned by our sculptor. This was to show Bilbo's first meeting with Gandalf, on his doorstep, as Gandalf carefully set the stage for the grand adventure both would eventually embark on. Bilbo was a hard sell, and the idea of stealing something from a Dragon was less appealing than Gandalf may have thought, especially for a quite little Hobbit. This is a small vignette which includes the Hobbit circular door and some plants. This would make an excellent subject for a diorama.
