June 2021 Releases: Gondorian Astrologer and Mirkwood Elf fighting aerial foe.

Mithril Miniatures is proud to announce two more Fellowship releases this month. These figures won their respective months polls, and were suggested and voted on by members of the Fellowship club.

The 'Gondorian Astrologer' (MZ691) is an advisor to the rulers of Gondor and study the movement of the celestial bodies to help them forecast what will happen in the future. The idea won in August 2020 and was suggested by Fellowship member 'eleamar'.

The 'Mirkwood Elf fighting aerial foe' (MZ695) was December 2020's winning idea by 'khador'. The Mirkwood Elves fought during the Battle of the Five Armies, near the end of the book 'The Hobbit', after Smaug, the Red Dragon, was finally slain. They had their grievances and had suffered under the tyrannical presence of that beast and wanted compensation by way of some of the treasure from its now vacant treasure horde. The Goblins had other dark allies helping them too, including aerial beasts like large bats, so the Elves had to fight them. Luckily Elves are nimble fighters and skilled with bow and sword.

There are only 100 of each of these new releases available. They are both cast in pewter, an alloy of mostly Tin, with some zinc and antimony. They are not primed and there is some assembly required. We recommend superglue, but that is not included. These metal figures are 32mm scale.
