The Northmen were a confederation of powerful peoples, who were numerous and dwelt in the plains of Rhovanion. The Northmen Prince was a leader of these people.

Only 100 of these figures are produced. This is the 196th release in the Gold Status Fellowship club. This was the winning idea from May 2022 and was submitted by Fellowship member "Thingol". This is the eight fully UV resin figure, undercoated with matt grey primer. There are three parts, the mounted figure is attached to the horse, a separate shield and the arm holding the axe. The base has the manufacturer name, MITHRIL, date and number on the sides of the base. The mounted figure measures 46mm in length, and is about 50mm in height.

This product is not suitable for children under the age of 14.

MZ712 LORD OF THE RINGS 'NORTHMEN PRINCE' RESIN MOUNTED FIGURE

Posted by David Daines on 29th Jun 2023

A lovely resin figure that captures crisp details thanks to the resin 3D printed process. The subject matter will go well with MZ: 711 Lord of the Rings 'Lady of the Northmen' Resin mounted figure and together a nice little scene is possible. As this is a printed piece and the arm holding the axe is separate I would strongly suggest doing any ‘surgery’ (see comment below) before attaching the arm as the axe haft is quite fragile. My only dislike (as always) is the inevitable ‘bridge’ of resin (and metal in the older figures) that fills in the gap between reins and the horse’s neck. This IS the Mithril style so is accepted as such and with resin is at least easier to remove. This does not detract from a very nice figure.

The detail of the figure is superb.
