Lying south of the White mountains of Gondor, Lamedon was a poor but strategically important province during the War of the Ring. Its lord, Angbor, played a pivotal role in the kingdom's defense. His meagre forces protected Gondor's southern flank by engaging the Corsair landing parties at the mouth of the Gilrain river, until relief arrived in the form of Aragorn and the army of the dead. Unlike most others Angbor held his nerve when confronted by Aragorn's terrifying allies. After the Corsair threat had been neutralized Angbor gathered his forces and went on to aid in the defence of Minas Tirith.

This is the 111th release in the Gold Status Fellowship club and was December 2014's Winning idea. It was suggested by 'Mornedhel'. 44mm in height from base to tip of raised sword.
