    Drama of life

Folca miniature truly interpretatively shows the fate of one great hero. The fight with this beast and the position of the body perfectly evokes the real drama of life. Great vignette.

Folca and the Great Boar of Everholt

A very characterful vignette that conveys the action and emotion of Folca's fatal battle with the great boar. The figures - the boar in particular - are well sculpted and cast. Very pleased with this figure and I would recommend it for those wishing to bring scenes from Middle Earth to life with painted miniatures.

MZ684 Lord of the Rings 'FOLCA™ and the Great Boar of EVERHOLT™' Fellowship vignette

Mithril’s latest release, MZ684, Folca and the Great Boar of Everholt Fellowship Vignette, really is a cracker of a miniature. The figures in the scene compliment each other nicely in a ‘dance to the death’, with a mortally wounded Folca standing over his slain horse, facing up to the huge Boar of Everholt as it gores the horse. The figures are crisply cast with the boar being a single casting as is the base which also has the dead horse cast on it. The figure of Folca is nicely detailed with a separate sprue that contains his spear arm and shield. The only minus point I would suggest, is that the horse is a little bit small, but I only noticed that because it was pointed out. Overall, one of the best releases because of the subject matter.
