One of the Nine Ringwraiths or Nazgul that were Kings of Men in the distant past, but were corrupted by wearing magical rings that were tied to the One Ring, and therefore eternally linked to their master. They were Sauron's most powerful servants and they could not die by normal means. With the destruction of the One Ring, they were destroyed forever.
