June 2024 Release: MZ723 Dale guards and militia

The Northmen sovereign town of Dale was situated near the Lonely mountain where Smaug the Dragon resided. During the events depicted in The Hobbit, that dragon was disturbed by Bilbo Baggins and became enraged and set the town on fire. During the attack, Bard the archer slew the dragon with a well placed special arrow. The town was rebuilt and Bard was appointed king. These guards and militia protect that town from threats and keep order.

This release has three guards and militia, armed with swords and axes. They also hold the Dale standard. They are packaged unassembled and the swords, axes and standards are separate to the figures. The arms are attached to the accessories so some gluing will be required. It was a Fellowship winner from July 2023. The Fellowship member responsible for submitting the idea was 'maxtarna'.
